Raid Categorys:
In the game Rust, an ECO Raid refers to a raiding strategy that does not involve the use of explosives. Instead, players rely on alternative tools and weapons to infiltrate and loot enemy bases. The term "ECO" stands for ecological or economical, implying a more resource-friendly approach to raiding.
During an ECO Raid, players employ a variety of non-explosive weapons and tools to breach defenses and gain access to valuable loot. These can include primitive weapons such as spears and bone clubs, as well as more advanced tools like jackhammers. The goal is to exploit weaknesses in the enemy base's structure and defenses while minimizing resource consumption.
While ECO Raids primarily focus on avoiding explosive-based attacks, it's important to note that certain fire-related tools like flamethrowers and Molotov cocktails fall under a separate category called flame raids. These methods utilize fire as a means of damaging and destroying structures, but they are not considered part of traditional ECO Raids.
In contrast, non-ECO Raids involve the use of gunpowder-based explosives, such as explosive bullets, Eoka pistols, C4 charges, and satchel charges. These methods are generally more destructive and resource-intensive, often resulting in significant damage to the target base.
